The Funeral Service in honour of our dearly departed President, Mrs. Adefunke Adeteju Kuyoro, was held on Thursday, 25 June 2026, at The Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Ikeja.
The service brought together distinguished men and women from all walks of life, including family, friends, associates, and members of the business community, who gathered to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of an exceptional woman of faith, service, and leadership.
Delivering the sermon, the Serving Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, paid glowing tribute to Mrs. Kuyoro’s exemplary life and unwavering faith. He reminded the congregation that her passing should not be seen as a loss, but as heaven’s gain, encouraging all present with the Christian hope that those who remain faithful in Christ will meet her again in eternity.
The service was enriched with beautiful hymns, uplifting worship, and moving musical renditions, creating an atmosphere of thanksgiving, reflection, and hope.
Members of the NNEW National Executive Committee, Governing Council, Chapter Chairpersons, and members from across the Network were present to honour their beloved President and bid her a heartfelt farewell.
Following the funeral service, Mrs. Kuyoro was laid to rest in a private interment attended by her immediate family.
