NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW) just marked a major milestone its 20th Annual General Meeting bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, partners, and stakeholders to celebrate two decades of enterprise, women’s economic empowerment, and leadership.
The big news: Mrs. Bolanle Edwards was unanimously sworn in as NNEW’s 6th President! In her acceptance speech, she thanked members for their confidence and pledged purposeful leadership anchored on commitment, fairness, transparency, and accountability — vowing to build on past achievements and prioritize initiatives that create greater opportunities and deliver real value for women entrepreneurs.
The AGM, held September 2, 2026 in Lagos, drew heavyweight support including the Director-General of the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), Mr. Adewale Smart Oyerinde, who commended the Network’s impact.
