The Kwara State chapter of NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW) has paid the school fees for 51 pupils at Bishop Smith’s Primary School, Ilorin, for the new academic term. The group aims to help reduce the number of out-of-school children.
State Chairperson Mrs. Ayobami Adediran, CEO of Bammy Fabric & Varieties, led the initiative, emphasizing their commitment to supporting education amid economic challenges. Financial Officer Mrs. Maimunat Abdulkareem, CEO of Delish Bakery, urged pupils to focus on their studies.

Headmistress Mrs. A.T. Afolayan thanked NNEW, noting that such support significantly helps keep children in school. She encouraged other organizations to follow NNEW’s example.
Vice-chairperson Mrs. Bilkis Abdul highlighted NNEW’s role in promoting women entrepreneurs. She, along with other NNEW executives, expressed readiness to continue supporting the government’s educational goals. The visit concluded with NNEW presenting a gift to the school authorities as a token of appreciation.
