The Governing Council
Introduction to the Governing Council
The Governing Council serves as the highest decision-making body within the Network, responsible for overseeing and managing its affairs in line with the Constitution. Entrusted with strategic leadership, the Council ensures that the Network remains effective, organized, and aligned with its mission and objectives.
Comprising key stakeholders—including incorporated trustees, current and past leaders, representatives from the parent body (NECA), and other appointed members—the Council plays a pivotal role in formulating policies, representing members’ interests, and safeguarding the overall integrity and growth of the Network. It meets regularly to deliberate on critical matters, establish necessary committees, and provide oversight on financial and operational activities. Through its leadership, the Governing Council remains committed to upholding transparency, accountability, and the collective progress of the Network.
