Mrs. Oluwatoyin Vanessa David-Aladesanmi
Oluwatoyin Vanessa David-Aladesanmi, popularly known as Vanessa David-Aladesanmi (VDA), is a
purpose-driven entrepreneur, seasoned procurement expert, and strategic mentor with over two
decades of professional experience across the hospitality, public, and telecommunications sectors.
She currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the NNEW Abuja Chapter, a leadership role that
crowns years of active, committed service within the network. Over time, she has:
- Chaired key committees in NNEW Abuja,
- Represented the chapter on the NNEW National Summit Planning Committee,
- Served as PRO and later President of the NNEW Abuja Multipurpose Cooperative Society, where she championed initiatives around member empowerment, financial inclusion, and cooperative growth.
Oluwatoyin is the founder of Vanda Oaks Integrated Services Limited, a multi-sectoral enterprise engaged in supply chain solutions, factory setup consultancy, cooperative consultancy and management, and logistics. Under its brand, Nessas Natures Gardens, she processes and
promotes indigenous, made-in-Nigeria skincare, haircare, and wellness products that harness the power of local herbs and oils.
She is a Certified ILO Business Development Trainer, with specializations in both Improve Your Exhibition Skills (IYES) and Women in Digital Business (WIDB). She has trained over 100 entrepreneursand countingon how to strategically position their businesses at trade shows and
exhibitions, and continues to empower women with practical tools for business development.
Her passion for youth and grassroots empowerment is reflected in her robust community work:
– Through the Tabitha Cumi Foundation, she has trained over 100 indigent girls and young women in the FCT in vocational skills, business development, and soft skills.
– She is the founder of Biz Buddies Hive, an innovative entrepreneurship club for children and teens (ages 618), where young learners are taught how to start and manage real businesses.
– She organizes and teaches entrepreneurship in both primary and secondary schools, planting the seeds of financial literacy and innovation at an early age.
Oluwatoyin is the Convener and Host of Momentum Nexus with VDA, a thought-leadership webinar series that bridges the gap between aspiring business owners and successful professionals and entrepreneurs across industries.
She is the author of Pause, Think! Before You Pay for That Exhibition, a practical guide for business owners who want to maximize their participation in trade events.
Throughout her journey, Oluwatoyin has received numerous awards and commendations, and she continues to serve in leadership capacities across various platforms and associations. She is a proud member of Lions International Club, where her commitment to community service further shines.
