Dcns. Uloma Obi - Nkemakolam
Uloma holds a degree in Microbiology, a postgraduate diploma in Mass Communications, and a Master’s in Managerial Psychology. With over 20 years in marketing and media, she has worked in print, electronic, and new media, and served as Senior Manager of Academics at Loveworld Ministerial College, where she developed course content. A certified trainer and coach, she is passionate about volunteering, focusing on community projects for women and youth, and organizing medical and food outreach initiatives. Uloma is an associate member of the Advertising Council of Nigeria and the current head of the Consultancy sector for NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women. She also leads a branding firm, BrandAlertng, and a confectionery business, Pure Delight Edibles, while pastoring a church within Loveworld Inc.
Uloma is a graduate of Microbiology, with a postgraduate diploma in Mass Communications and a
Master’s in Managerial Psychology. She is a consummate marketing and media practitioner with over 20
years of experience in print, electronic, and new media, branding and advertising, having worked in the
marketing communications industry.
She worked at the Loveworld Ministerial College a training arm of Loveworld Incorporated aka Christ
Embassy, as Senior ManagerAcademics where she was charged with the responsibilities of developing
the content and curriculum for the diploma and degree courses amongst other responsibilities. She is a certified trainer, facilitator, and coach with GIZ-GOPA on entrepreneurship development and a
certified trainer on professional food handling certification with Pelican Solutions.
She has attended several courses over the years in communications, marketing, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, capacity building, corporate governance, and procurement among others.
She is passionate about volunteering, working with women and young people in several community- based projects for over two decades in capacity building and skill acquisition. Organizing medical and
food outreaches to the elderly, youths, and children in the inner cities. She also volunteers in the GIZ- SEDIN-GOPA “After Care” initiative which is aimed at beneficiaries of Programme Migration for
Development (PME). She participated in mentoring women entrepreneurs in the technology, media, and
advertising sectors during the FCMB/NNEW/SHEVENTURES Mentorship Program 2022.
.Uloma is an associate member of the Advertising Council of Nigeria (APCON) and, a member of NECA’s
Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW). She has served on different committees in NNEW, and she is
presently serving as the head of the sector of Consultancy, NNEW Lagos Chapter. She is currently the President of her old student’s association, Federal Government Girls College Gusau
Old Girls Association Pioneer Set. Uloma runs a branding outfit BrandAlertng and a confectionery business, Pure Delight Edibles. She is an
ardent disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and is currently pastoring a church in Loveworld Inc. aka Christ
Embassy
